High schools competed in 3 battles

Dutch schools were given the chance to win a full High School Takeover to celebrate the end of the school year. The winner received a complete party, including DJ performances by Mike Williams, Curbi, Mesto and Sophie Francis.

Spinnin' Records and Gazelle are continuing on their partnership with the High School Takeover. For this, high schools in Holland could sign up and start competing in a three-step battle. First, students were given the chance to make a track of their own, which was judged by Spinnin's A&R team. The winner performed at the school party.

Secondly, schools competed with a video on Instagram, showing their skills & tricks with a bike. Based on the amount of likes and the verdict of the judges, the best school won four Spinnin' by Gazelle Bikes!

Finally, schools did a dance battle, sending in videos of their teams dancing to a Spinnin' track - again the amount of likes and the jury's verdict decided the winner. The winner performed at the party and feature in a video of one of Spinnin's upcoming releases.

The school that performed best over these three contests, won the full High School Takeover party by the end of the year, including everything you need for a decent dance event, from light effects and CO2 cannons to performances by DJs (and Spinnin' Bike ambassadors) Mike Williams, Curbi, Mesto and Sophie Francis.

Raayland College in Venray was the lucky winner and won the best school party they ever had.
