Summer is here, and so is a brand new Ibiza season! In case you never visited the White Isle, we let some of Spinnin's artists guide you the way. This time: Kris Kross Amsterdam.
Always in for a decent party, Kris Kross Amsterdam seem to be made for the Ibiza club life. So, of course we asked them to give us an insight in their favorite spots on the island. Here goes..
When & where are you playing Ibiza this summer?
"We are so excited to announce Amnesia the 14th of august! We'll be playing on the terrace at Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike's eve! We are so thankful that we can be a part of that night! Also, we are playing Ushuaia on September 12th, really looking forward to that as well!"
What are you looking forward to the most, when it comes to visiting Ibiza?
"The vibe at Ibiza is amazing. We absolutely love the party's over there and to relax at places where you can find total rest. Of course we really look forward to our show at Amnesia, but also the late dinners at the beaches, sailing to Formentera and strolling around Ibiza old town."
What DJ performance on Ibiza has made the biggest impression on you so far?
"It's amazing to see how fast our friend Hardwell has grown the last couple of years. Last year we visited one of his evenings at the Ushuaia, it was truly amazing and for us a new goal and a great example."
Favorite Ibiza hotspot?
"The 8th of August, Ibiza celebrates Sant Ciriac with an amazing firework show. We always watch it from the harbor, its just a magical view to see all that fireworks above the old town. We travel to Ibiza each year just for that!"
What’s your favorite place to eat?
"La Escollera, at playa es Cavallet!! It's our favorite restaurant with the most loving owners and the best food, and the view is to die for!"
What do you still have on your Ibiza wishlist?
"We dream of our own night. We started Kris Kross Amsterdam as an Amsterdam party. It would be amazing to bring our party to Ibiza once a week."
And finally, what record are we definitely going to hear on Ibiza this season?
"Our single 'SEX'! We are going to play it live and we hope a lot of DJ's will support it in their shows!"
