Oct 21, 2016

Upcoming DJ talent Dante Klein got caught off guard today by the worldwide success of his single ‘Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)’; the track reached over 150 million streams on Spotify.

During the Amsterdam Dance Event it became clear that Dutch DJ’s still belong to the global top. However, not many established names in the EDM scene are achieving these streaming numbers. ‘Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)’ that Dante Klein created together with the American producing trio Cheat Codes (known for their massive hit ‘Sex’ together with Kris Kross Amsterdam), is only the third single from the relatively unknown DJ.

The 21-year-old producer got the surprise of his life this afternoon by Noah, Jesper and Marthijn from the well-known YouTube channel Ponkers, during a meet & greet with his fans at the Amsterdam Dance Event, who handed him the award for 150 million Spotify streams.

You can also listen to ‘Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)’ on other portals, including YouTube. The track almost reached 200 million streams through all the streaming portals combined.

Dante Klein: “This is very sick! I never expected that this song would be so big! My biggest dream as a DJ is that as many people can enjoy my music though out the world. (Music) services as Spotify and YouTube are making it possible that you can listen to the track almost anywhere in the world. However, I still cannot comprehend that ‘Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)’ is being streamed from Mexico till Singapore, wow!

Dante Klein
The 21-year-old Dante Klein from the Netherlands had a hit straight away with his first release ‘Ertesuppe’. The song got picked up by Pete Tong’s radio show for the BBC. After his first show on Tomorrowland in 2015, Dante Klein was asked to remix the number 1 Billboard dance track ‘Higher Place’ from Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Ne-Yo. Followed by a collaboration with Sam Feldt and the Belgium singer Milow, that resulted in the tune ‘Feels Like Home’.

Dante Klein's biggest hit is ‘Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)’ (released on Spinnin’ Records, where he is under contract) that already gained 2 million streams before the official release last June. In the first week it gained 40 million streams on Spotify and in the meantime it’s over 150 million streams and counting.
