Exclusive interview Pyrodox: 'Focus on quality and creativity'

Please welcome Pyrodox, releasing his brand new single 'Dust To Gold' after already making waves on Spinnin's Talent Pool. We had a short chat with the Dutch artist on his music, the Talent Pool and his future ambitions. 

Hey there, what have you been up to lately? 
"Hey! I've been working on new singles with some great artists, an EP and official remixes for some amazing artists! Also I've been working on my new studio. I'm building one myself!" 

You are delivering your new track ‘Dust To Gold’ straight out of Spinnin’s Talent Pool. What can you tell us about this track?
"The first idea came around at my bedroom-studio. After that I thought Ina would fit the vocal and asked her. She was straight away down to do it! After that I did a lot of mixing down, tweaking, making adjustments to the drums and finished it off."

What is your most important goal when making a track?
"Having fun! And of course giving the world something to enjoy and recognize themselves in."

 How do you experience the Talent Pool? 
"My experience with the Talent Pool so far has been great. My first release that happened through the Talent Pool was my official remix of 'Portland' by Watermät and MOGUAI that later also got used in the Spinnin' Running APP (Spinnin' GO!). After that it took off!" 

 Do you have any advice for the Talent Pool and/or the producers dropping their tracks?
"Focus on the quality and creativity of your track first instead of trying to get as much votes as possible. If the track is good and innovative I'm sure Spinnin' Records will hear it! So keep doing your thing!"

Finally, what is your future ambition?
"To do international touring. That would be so amazing! See the world and spreading your music. Meeting new people and exploring cultures. Also I would love to work with major DJ/producers and singer/songwriters! But above all, create new music."
