Crossnaders signs with Spinnin' Records

Mar 8, 2017

Dutch dance act Crossnaders has signed a deal with Spinnin' Records. The trio already released several records by itself, and will now bring out its first record under this deal on March 17th, a collab with renowned US producer KSHMR, titled 'Back To Me'. Read an exclusive interview here.

Crossnaders is working on a remarkable career. The Dutch group consisting of producers Phillip Wessels, Shane Muller and Bob Sandee already delivered variously styled tracks in the past, both solo and together. Last year, the first records from Crossnaders emerged, including 'Stable', a collab with US group Breathe Carolina that by now has scored over 4,5 million Spotify streams and numerous DJ support.

It's given Crossnaders wings and international fame, leading to performances at some of the bigger stages around the world, including the Ultra Music Festival in South-Korea.

This has now led to another milestone: signing a record deal with Spinnin' Records, where Crossnaders releases its new single 'Back To Me' on March 17th, a collab with renowned US producer KSHMR and New York singer Micky Blue. We already had a talk with the guys..

Signing an exclusive deal with Spinnin' Records, how does this make you feel?
"Out of this world! Being picked up by the biggest dance label is a dream come true for many, and set out for so few. We’re honored to be part of such an amazing extended family and we truly believe this will be the next step in our musical voyage."

How would you describe the sound and style you are bringing to the label?
"We like to tell stories through out every piece of music we bring to the table. If you’ve listened to one of our tracks, we would like you to have the feeling of wanting to listen to it over and over again, to discover all the hidden secrets!"

What original track or remix defines you the best so far?
"Last year's single 'Stable' really has a euphoric kind of story we wanted to tell of which we were able to collaborate with Breathe Carolina. It’s amazing what can happen via online interactions and we believe it was the right kind of track to introduce ourselves with. We believe it captures the zeitgeist of today’s youth, since we’re the generation that truly believes everything is possible. Although we all experience the downfalls and disappointments of life, we’re a persevering generation.

Later on we had the opportunity to remix ‘Can't fight it’ by Quintino &  Cheat Codes, We stretched the vocals down which gave it the right vibration and feeling to the song. We really enjoyed working on this production and even though it was an amazing song to begin with, we feel we’ve taken it on a joyride through the galaxy."

What would you like to achieve at Spinnin' Records?
"We like to be better ourselves as storytellers through our music and collaborations. No matter where you are, there’s an endless amount of learning to go through. We love that we can be guided by our own Jedi’s at Spinnin’ Records, but we’ll spend a lot of time on research & development of new music. The Crossnaders experience is something that should feel out of this world for any human listening to it. Not only via audio but visual should play a big part in our quest for bringing musical love to this planet."

You must be working on new releases already. What can we expect soon?
"We’re getting ready for lift-off! As of right now we’re in the development stage, creating a lot of new projects, solo and collabs. There’s always room aboard our ship! We love to post snippets on our socials so definitely keep an eye out for @CROSSNADERS – SPCMN FROM THE BLOCK on Instagram, Soundcloud, Facebook and Twitter. And get ready for our upcoming single together with KSHMR, called 'Back To Me', out March 17th on Spinnin' Records."
