Exclusive interview: New Dance Music Friday with NERVO

They're releasing their new single 'LOCO' together with Danny Avila today, provide the list with some musical tips, and tell all about it in this exclusive interview.

Hey, you just released your new single 'LOCO', together with Danny Avila. How did you create this?
"Danny brought us the idea and we immediately resonated with it. 'Asturias' is such a classic and was actually one of the first pieces that Liv learned how to play on the guitar! We posted on our instagram that we were looking for a Latina artist to feature on a record of ours and Reverie responded. We recorded her in LA and shot the video at Omnia in Las Vegas and Ushuaia in Ibiza. It was a lot of fun!" 

What does this record say about your musical evolution as an artist?
"We've been playing 'LOCO' all summer, mashing it with other tracks and it has been working great. As well as releasing records that work for radio or other platforms, it’s important to us that we release records that work in our sets and this is definitely one that gets the crowd going loco (excuse the pun ;) )."

The track is featured on Spinnin’s New Dance Music Friday playlist. How important is Spotify to you?
"We are totally chuffed that we’re featuring on Spinnin’s New Dance Music Friday playlist. We use Spotify so we know how great a platform it is. I mean, who would fill up their computers downloading thousands of tunes if they can stream it? It feels like the future."
